Every year, from January through September, we rescue many baby boy goats and some lambs, unwanted from various dairy farms (boys are useless at dairies). We do our best to maintain positive and respectful partnerships with local dairies so we can work together in order to save lives. To date, we have rescued over 90 babies :-)

The most recent baby rescued is Alexander. He was saved by a good samaritan who witnessed him walking on a leash in Francisco with an inebriated person. She could tell he was just a baby and in need of proper food and shelter. So she "bought" him from the person and took him to Goatlandia.
