Piper

“The Troubadour”

Piper the turkey came to us all the way from Utah, where she was pardoned from a slaughterhouse days before Thanksgiving. She has a clipped beak, which is carried out ultimately to “protect" birds from hurting each other in what is an unnatural commercial environment.

Piper is very vocal and likes chirp at the pigs, chickens, and volunteers.

When animals get adopted, it means we have room to save more! If you are interested in adopting Piper, please download our adoption form and reach out to us to schedule a time for a visit and interview!

Some of our rescued animals need specific medical care,
treatments, or supplements to help them grow and heal here
at the sanctuary. Piper falls in that category, and so
we have a special Cuddly campaign just for them.
