Our little Eloise was born to a small backyard hobby dairy. She was born with a cleft palate. This is a rare congenital disorder known as “palatoschisis.” She was unable to keep milk or food from dribbling out of her mouth and nose. Unwanted, she was rescued by Kira at Genevieve’s Gentle Hearts Rescue, and from there she came to Goatlandia. Through collaboration of both rescue groups, Eloise has had two corrective surgeries and is on the mend. This doesn’t seem to dampen her sweet little spirit and is always up for pets and love. Her favorite thing is to snuggle up and take a nap with a person.
