Barbados Sheep Flock

The is Goatlandia's largest single group rescue to date!

The flock is a mix of un-neutered males, some lambs that are a few months to a year old, and some adult females which hopefully aren’t pregnant 😬 !

The animals, who are Barbados and Barbados mix sheep,  were rescued from a private farm when the owners could no longer care for them. They didn’t castrate the males, so of course they bred and bred and bred! It quickly became too overwhelming for their owners.

All the sheep need vaccinations, all the males will need to be castrated, and some may be mothers giving birth soon, so we need to be prepared to have a growing flock!

Your donations will provide the necessary medical care and vet visits for the 30+ sheep flock, plus food and daily care. Being the largest group we've rescued, we really could use your immediate support!

When animals get adopted, it means we have room to save more! If you are interested in adopting Barbados Sheep Flock, please download our adoption form and reach out to us to schedule a time for a visit and interview!
Some of our rescued animals need specific medical care, treatments, or supplements to help them grow and heal here at the sanctuary. Barbados Sheep Flock fall in that category, and so we have a special Cuddly campaign just for them.
