GOATLANDIA TOUR GUIDE


Job Status: Part-Time, up to 20-30 hours a week (primarily weekends)
Hourly Rate: $25 per hour

At Goatlandia, we believe in the magic of connection—between people, animals, and the planet. Nestled in beautiful Sonoma County, we’re a sanctuary where rescued farmed animals thrive and where we inspire others to live with compassion.

About the Role:
As a Goatlandia Tour Guide, you’ll be the friendly face and joyful voice introducing our visitors to the amazing animals who call Goatlandia home. You’ll share their unique stories, help guests connect with them in meaningful ways, and show how small, compassionate choices can make a big impact for animals, people, and the environment. If you love animals, people, and spreading positivity, this is the perfect role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead engaging tours for groups of all ages, including families, schools, and corporate teams.
  • Facilitate safe, respectful interactions between visitors and our animal residents.
  • Share educational insights about the animals’ lives, rescue stories, and how we can all live more compassionately.
  • Set up and tidy tour areas, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment.
  • Assist with merchandise sales before and after tours.

  • A passion for animals and people, with great communication skills.
  • Comfort speaking to groups and engaging with people of all ages.

GOATLANDIA ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT SPECIALIST


Job Status: Part-Time, up to 20-30 hours a week (including 1 weekend day per week)
Hourly Rate: $20-25 per hour, depending on experience

About the Role:
As our Administrative Support Specialist, you’ll be the organizational heart of Goatlandia! You’ll keep our sanctuary running smoothly by supporting our team with vital administrative tasks, ensuring we can focus on providing the best care for our animal residents and creating meaningful experiences for our visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage emails, phone inquiries, and scheduling with a cheerful, professional demeanor.
  • Assist with data entry, donation tracking, and other record-keeping tasks.
  • Coordinate volunteer schedules and support volunteer activities.
  • Help prepare for events, fundraisers, and tours by managing logistics and materials.
  • Provide general office support, including filing, organizing, and ordering supplies.


What You Bring:

  • A love for animals and a belief in Goatlandia’s mission.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and people skills—both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with basic office software (e.g., Word, Excel) and a willingness to learn new tools.
