Bryce arrived yesterday and we immediately took him to UC Davis Hospital. Read on to hear about this sweet angel's story... and hopefully he hopes are inspired to help ❤️
Bryce is a 3-month-old baby goat with an angelic face! He was surrendered by a family who originally got him as a pet from a diary farm, but after they noticed that he had several health issues, including the disabling issue with his back leg which he is not able to bear weight on, they decided to let him go to someone who knew how to care for goats. We learned of his story and immediately picked him up and brought him to our sanctuary.
He is currently at UC Davis Hospital to determine what treatments he needs for his disabled leg as well other issues, including a bone growth or calcium deposit on his body.
Bryce is in need of your donations to help cover the costs for radiographs to ascertain what is going on with his leg, and any treatments prescribed. The vet says that amputation doesn’t seem necessary or recommended at this point so that’s great.
Right now, he is not wanting a bottle nor doe he want to eat hay but that’s what he should be doing at 3 months of age.So that is worrisome and we'll find out what is going on!
