Captain came to us in 2021 from the neighboring property at our Santa Rosa sanctuary location. Deborah noticed a lump on Captain’s leg, which is not uncommon in light skinned horses. The vet was able to remove the tumor and Captain is now healthy and happy living out the rest of his life at Goatlandia.
Captain had already met our horse resident Lucas through the fence of the neighboring property. The boys would hang out by the fence each morning and were so happy to be united in the same pasture. Today Captain, Lucas, and Sadie continue to spend all of their time together.
