Emma was found wandering around a neighborhood in Sebastopol. A kind resident took her in, cared for her, and called us for help. Her former owner, a farmer, was found because of her number on an ear tag. But Emma had been sold at auction (probably for meat since she is a meat breed), and what happened after that, we’ll probably never know. She escaped (yay!) and ended up in Sebastopol.
Emma is in great shape, but tested positive for CL (Caseous Lymphadenitis). Luckily, we have a CL positive herd at the Sebastopol property and Emma has happily joined the herd.
