Yes, the newborn baby goats are now “teenagers", and still as loving and sweet as can be! They were born between December and March 2021.

In the last year, we rescued over 22 newborn baby goats! Male goats are considered useless at dairy farms because they cannot produce milk. It takes 2 years for a goat to reach full size and maturity.

Because they can’t get pregnant and make milk, baby boy goats are considered rejects at dairy farms and most of the time killed hours after birth or auctioned off for slaughter. Each year we rescue as many as we can. We have rescued 15 baby boys so far this year!

These beautiful sweet boys are available for adoption so we can make space to save more.

When animals get adopted, it means we have room to save more! If you are interested in adopting Dairy Boys (fka Baby Goats), please download our adoption form and reach out to us to schedule a time for a visit and interview!
Some of our rescued animals need specific medical care, treatments, or supplements to help them grow and heal here at the sanctuary. Dairy Boys (fka Baby Goats) fall in that category, and so we have a special Cuddly campaign just for them.
