Around the sad day our country lost Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg in late September 2020, Deb got a call from Sonoma County Animal Services explaining that they found a young little goat on the side of a road with a broken leg. They asked if Goatlandia would help her and of course, we said YES. She was taken to a vet and put in a cast, but we needed to recast her to make sure her leg healed properly. This little one hasn’t looked back. “What broken leg?” Ruthie has a strong fiery spirit and is very vocal about who she is, what she wants, and how she is going to live her life, just like her namesake. Her cast is now off and she playfully runs wherever she pleases, making friends with everyone she meets.
