Winona is a naked neck chicken. Originating from Transylvania (no, really!), naked neck chickens have no feathers on their necks. They are a unique breed that are very resilient to different climates, and not particularly fond of motherhood; therefore far less broody than other chickens. Winona’s previous owner lost their home in the Tubbs fire, so Winona came to live at Goatlandia. She is quite the personality, and loves to wander around the sanctuary and make new friends.
