Over the past six years, Goatlandia founder Deborah Blum has catered hundreds of events. These include Sonoma Vegfest, SF World VegFest, Wine-a-paw-looza, Bioneers, the Sebastopol Apple Blossom Festival, private weddings and dinners, and a number of fundraisers, as well as parties and events for other California non-profits and animal rescue groups. She also mentors people on how to transition to a plant-based diet. Knowing which products to use and having some great insider food tips can make the transition way easier, and more delicious!

Deb believes in cooking with organic, plant-based ingredients; with LOVE being the most important ingredient. Having owned restaurants for 30+ years, her experience helps her share the wonderful benefits (and delicious flavors) that plant-based cooking has to offer. We believe that feeding people incredibly delicious plant-based food is one of the best ways to change people’s eating habits, decrease the demand for animal products, and help promote a kinder and healthier planet.

Our food events helped raise money for the animal sanctuary and our life saving work. However, due to Covid 19, all events halted in 2020. We are excited for the time when our world opens up again, and for an awakened community that realizes our planet, our environments, and farmed animals deserve to be held in more loving care.
